the lake

i went to the lake with a friend the other day to help her shoot some 4x5. too bad it ended up being the coldest day in weeks. we both could barely move. not a good thing when doing large format. on the upside, it was beautiful. we left just as the storm was blowing in. i left with a couple good shots. this was my favorite:

pandora

pandora was the first woman on earth, according to Greek mythology. she was endowed with many gifts from the gods, including a box she was told never to open. eventually curiosity got the best of pandora and she opened the box, letting out all the bad in the world.

i've always enjoyed Greek mythology and thought it would be a fun challenge to illustrate some of the stories i've remembered most.

i'm a bit of a foodie. i love good food. i've decided to start experimenting with photographing food. this may be my new love.

fly fishing

my wonderful husband spent hours upon hours of his time helping me with a documentary project for school. he built a fly fishing rod while i documented the whole thing. it was a fun project for us to work on together. it would have been a lot less stressful too if his gear had only arrived on time. {it was about two months late.} i only included a few.
