ice castle

apparently this place has been here for years. . . but i just found out about it this year and think it's superb. maybe i'm a sucker for kitchy things, but i don't care. we had a blast. my little two year old niece sure made it a lot more fun, walking around going "ooh," "ah" the whole time.

 brooke and i have been friends since elementary school. over the last couple of years we've discovered that between living farther apart, both being married, work and school, we don't get to see each other often. somehow we manage to pick things up right where we left off, without missing a beat. doing this shoot was a blast. we were able to catch up and to goof around like we always used to. love ya brooklyn!

 

 

happy valentines day

i got to photograph my niece the other day. my sister wanted some valentines pictures for her. the dress she's wearing is straight from the 50's. isn't it adorable?

for my studio lighting class we had to produce a product shot or shoot glass objects. i loved this assignment and had a lot of fun doing it.
